perfect spot for exploring parks and local dining
we spent three nights here and loved the short stroll to the jubilee clock tower, which offered great views and photo opportunities, and it was only a few steps away from great foodie spots like the three chimneys smokehouse.

A fantastic experience with very accommodating hosts who rearranged to provide a first-floor room with a stunning sea view, perfectly suited for my mother with mobility challenges. The room was comfortable and well-decorated, featuring a cozy ambiance. Breakfast was a highlight, offering high-quality ingredients and a choice of hot meals. The location near the seafront made exploring the area easy and enjoyable, though parking options could have been improved.

I truly enjoyed my two-night stay at Lichfield House. The owners, Alec and Sue, made my granddaughter and me feel right at home. Penny, my granddaughter, loves sweets, so the bag they gave her as a parting gift was a lovely touch. The room was spotlessly clean, and the nostalgic smell of the sheets reminded me of my childhood. Breakfast was simply amazing. I haven't had eggs poached so perfectly in ages! Location-wise, it couldn’t be better, right by the sea front. On the downside, breakfast time slots started quite early, which felt a bit rushed for our relaxing getaway. I also noticed minor plumbing issues, with hot water not available in the bathroom sink, but I'm sure Alec would have sorted it out if we mentioned it.

Stayed in the Standard Triple Room with Sea View. The views were stunning! The room was cozy and clean, with all the modern amenities like USB ports and hot drink options. The beds were super comfy, which is a must for a good night's sleep. Plus, there were thoughtful little touches that made it feel homey. Only downside was the bathroom door, it could’ve used a little work to close properly. But overall, a great experience!

Just an ideal choice for a city holiday in Weymouth with good value for money. The shower pressure wasn't the best, but it was fine for a short stay. I'd recommend checking the hot water in the sink before settling in.
